Our goal is to provide you with the best possible dental care and at the same time respect your financial needs. Clear financial arrangements play an important part in the attainment of good dental health. All co-pays and balances are due in full at each visit.

Our practice accepts cash, checks, MasterCard and Visa for services rendered at the time of treatment.
Some treatment may require more than one visit, in which case, with advanced arrangements authorized by our financial co-ordinator, you may pay a portion of the total fee at each visit with payment in full completed by the last visit.
Information about Our Financial Structure & Dental Insurance
Our fees for service are the same for all patients, whether or not you have dental insurance. We accept most dental insurance plans, however, it would be best to check with us first. Your insurance company may base its allowances on a fee schedule that may or may not coincide with our office fees. It is important to remember that most plans do not pay 100% of every dental visit. We do accept a small number of contractual dental plans which will be billed according to their respective guidelines. We encourage our patients to educate themselves with the guidelines to their insurance plan. We ask that you obtain a benefit booklet from your human resource department or through the customer service department of your dental insurance company and refer to it when needed. This will help you have a better understanding of your dental plan.
Here are a few things to check into ... ...
-
The amount of your yearly maximum. (This would be the amount of benefits paid out by your dental insurance company in one year.)
-
The amount of your individual deductible.
-
The percentage of coverage for treatment.
- Does your plan have a waiting period for specific procedures such as crowns?
Please note that our office does not accept HMO plans. We are a contracted (in-network) provider for Delta Dental (with the exception of Delta Care & Delta Select), Blue Cross & Blue Shield (Dental Blue), Altus Dental Plan and Cigna Dental. We can accept other dental insurance plans at the out-of-network rate. Check with your plan to be sure you are not required to see an in-network provider with your specific plan.
Every insurance plan has a yearly maximum per person and most all have a yearly individual deductible. Because every plan is so different and because we accept so many dental plans, it is impossible for our office to know what your plan will or will not cover. This is why we stress the importance of your awareness of the benefits and limitations of your particular plan.
Whenever possible, we will send a pre-treatment estimate that will outline what your dental insurance should pay. It is NOT a guarantee. It is important to remember that your treatment plan is dental work that is suggested to you by our team of dental professionals. It is a treatment plan constructed for you personally to fit your needs. Your financial commitment to dental work is between you and this office and is not dependent upon insurance coverage.
If you have any questions regarding dollar disbursement or what your plan will consider as a covered charge, you must refer these questions to your insurance benefits booklet or your agent. We will do as much as possible for you and will assist you to the extent that is possible. We are not and cannot be responsible for the structure of your insurance plan. This is an agreement between your employer and the insurance company.
A usual and customary percentage of your treatment (co-payment) will be collected at the time of your visit. A fifty percent deposit is required for laboratory involved procedures at the first visit. If you do not have insurance, the fee must be paid in full the day services are rendered. We offer a P.A.C.T. Program, (Pre-Authorized Credit Transaction), for co-payments over $1,000.00. There are no finance companies or banks involved and no finance charge will accrue on your account.
We hope this has answered some questions you might have had and we thank you for choosing our practice to service you. |
